HR Manager (Fixed-Term Contract to Summer 2027) Salary: £44,203 (FTE) Contract: Fixed-term to Summer 2027 Full-time, Term Time Only Ashley Kate HR is pleased to be supporting our client in the education sector with the recruitment of an experienced HR Manager to join their team on a fixed-term basis until Summer 2027. This is an exciting opportunity for a hands-on HR professional to lead the day-to-day HR function, working closely with senior leaders to provide expert advice, drive continuous improvement and ensure HR processes remain compliant, efficient and people-focused. Provide expert HR advice and guidance to managers and employees across a wide range of people matters.

Manage employee relations cases including disciplinary, grievance, capability, absence and performance management. Lead the full recruitment and onboarding process, ensuring compliance with Safer Recruitment requirements. Review, develop and implement HR policies and procedures in line with current employment legislation and best practice.

Support organisational change, consultation processes and workforce planning initiatives. Coach and develop managers, building confidence in managing people matters effectively. Oversee HR administration, payroll changes, employee records and HR systems to ensure accuracy and compliance.

Coordinate mandatory training, support staff wellbeing initiatives and contribute to equality, diversity and inclusion objectives. Produce HR reports and workforce data to support informed decision-making. We're looking for an experienced HR professional who enjoys building relationships, supporting managers and delivering an excellent HR service.

Strong knowledge of UK employment law and HR best practice.

Experience managing a broad range of employee relations cases. Previous experience leading recruitment and onboarding processes. Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
