Applications Developer (Web & Mobile)
Hybrid | Glasgow | Permanent
We're working with a well-established UK organisation that's investing heavily in its digital platforms and looking for a Digital Application Developer to join the team.
You'll help build and improve customer-facing web and mobile applications, working across the full development lifecycle alongside Product, Design, Data and Engineering teams.
What you'll be doing
Building and enhancing web and mobile apps (iOS & Android)Developing APIs and integrations with business systemsCreating secure, scalable, user-friendly digital solutionsSupporting CI/CD, testing, monitoring and performance improvementsWorking in Agile teams to deliver new features and enhancementsExploring opportunities to leverage AI and automation
What we're looking for
Strong commercial experience in software developmentHands-on with React, TypeScript/JavaScript, Swift/SwiftUI and KotlinExperience building and consuming APIsKnowledge of secure development practices and modern architectureFamiliar with CI/CD, testing and Agile delivery environmentsStrong problem-solving and communication skills
Nice to have
Experience in financial services or other regulated sectorsReact Native, Flutter or Azure exposureMobile authentication, biometrics or digital identity experienceInterest in AI-enabled products and emerging technologies
