Experienced Skip Lorry Driver – £170 Per Day – Immediate Start
Location: HP22 7AA
Hours: 6:30am–4:30pm
Pay: £170 per day
Contract: Self-employed
Start date: ASAP
Overtime: Available but completely optional
We are looking for an experienced and reliable Skip Lorry Driver to join our team at our depot near HP22 7AA.
The role
Delivering and collecting skips safely and efficiently
Completing daily vehicle safety checks
Securing loads and operating skip-lorry equipment correctly
Following planned routes and delivery instructions
Completing the necessary paperwork
Providing a professional service to customers
Keeping the vehicle clean and reporting any faults promptly
Following all road safety, site safety and transport regulations
Requirements
Previous skip-lorry driving experience is essential
Must be aged 21 or over for insurance purposes
Minimum of two years’ professional driving experience
Hold all valid licences and qualifications required to drive a skip lorry
Good knowledge of driver-hours and road-safety regulations
Reliable, punctual and safety-conscious
Confident working independently and dealing with customers
Able to commute to the HP22 7AA depot for a 6:30am start
Pay and working hours
The standard working day is 6:30am to 4:30pm, paid at £170 per day on a self-employed basis. Additional overtime may be available, but it is entirely optional.
